I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. It's no Lion King or Snow White, but it's a solid movie. The music is fun, and the characters were nicely fleshed out. The only thing I worry about is that this movie is pretty scary, and one of the minor characters dies. It's not quite as scary as Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty (I might be biased, since that movie caused most of my nightmares when I was little). Because of this, I would wait on showing this to anyone under 4.

Movie Suggestion: The Princess and The Frog
I finally got around to watching this Disney movie, and to be honest, I was expecting the worst. It didn't do well in the box office (word on the street is that Disney has given up on princesses because of those numbers), and the only thing I really heard about it was that it was the first African-American Disney princess.
