First, I went to the greatest 3-year-old's birthday party, with a taco truck, an ice cream truck, and a cake, SHAPED LIKE A GARBAGE TRUCK. Seriously. Oh, and there was a bouncy house. And cookies. And multicolored Goldfish crackers (I saw a toddler wipe his snotty face with his hand, and then stick it into the bowl of Goldfish, so I abstained from those). The whole thing was garbage truck-themed, since he's a major fan of them. The cookies even said, "I had LOADS of fun with you! Love, Henry." Everything was delicious, and even though I barely knew anyone there, they were all super nice.

While I was at the party, I received emails that I had booked TWO new shows! Yay me! One in NoHo on a Saturday, and one in Hollywood on a Tuesday.
And tonight I'm playing The Pig 'n' Whistle again, this time accompanied on bass by Mike Bauman. I really like this venue and I think it fits my style of music. I hope a ton of you come to tonight's show!
